    Prices are subject to change without notice. To confirm prices, please call 800-228-0810 prior to placing your order. Payment terms are net 30 days, F.O.B. Dubuque, Iowa if a credit limit has been established. If you are placing your first order with Kendall Hunt and would like to establish a line of credit, please download the credit application HERE, fill it out, include credit references and your tax exempt certificate (if applicable), and e-mail or fax it to the number above.
    Individual Orders:
    All individual orders must be prepaid by check, money order, bank transfer or credit card. We accept Master Card, Visa, Discover, or American Express. Orders placed on the website must be paid by credit card. Orders are subject to sales tax in the states listed under the heading “Sales Tax.”
    Sales Tax:
    Kendall Hunt is required to collect sales tax in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming and Canada (GST). This list is subject to change at any time.
    All orders placed on our web site will be charged sales tax. If your school/organization is exempt from sales tax, fax or e-mail the purchase order with your exempt certificate to Kendall Hunt Publishing Company. 
    *Sales tax on FREIGHT will be charged where applicable.
    Regulations for Sales Tax Exempt Certificate Use:
    You must provide an exemption certificate before making tax-exempt purchases. Exempt certificates are to be used solely by the organization for their exempt purposes and the purchase must be made from the organization’s funds. Purchases made by an individual on behalf of the organization are taxable, even if the individual will be reimbursed by the organization.
    Back Order Policy:
    Out of stock items are automatically placed on backorder and charged to your account upon shipment. Freight charges will be added to each invoice at the time of shipment. If an item is back ordered, you may call our Customers Service Department at 800-228-0810 to determine an availability date or to cancel the back order balance prior to shipment. If we do not hear from you, we presume that you are willing to wait for your merchandise and will pay individual freight charges for each shipment. You may also supply a cancellation date with your purchase order if you no longer wish to receive material after a specific required date. 
    We fulfill most orders within 48 hours of entry into our automated order processing system. Orders are not shipped on weekends or on holidays. Shipping times vary based upon the shipping method chosen. 
    For all orders, please supply a valid street address. Many shippers cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. If shipping instructions are not provided we will determine the most appropriate method and ship accordingly. Please include the telephone number and name of the person to be contacted for delivery instructions. 
    Future shipments:
    If you wish to have your order shipped at a future date, we will hold your order in our system until the date requested. You will be billed for the product when the order ships. 
    Freight Charges (Contiguous U.S. Only):
    Orders will be assessed a ground freight charge which will be added to your invoice. Rush delivery is available for an additional charge. Contact our Customer Service Department 800-228-0810 regarding the cost to ship overnight or 2nd day air. For delivery outside the contiguous U.S., please see the instructions further below. 
    Bulk Orders:
    Freight charges are calculated on bulk orders by the weight of the shipment and the distance it is being shipped. On bulk orders we suggest that you estimate freight at 10% of your order total, however, actual published freight charges will be added to your invoice. Inside Delivery or special requests such as a lift gate requirement on bulk shipments will be assessed an additional charge. 
    Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, APO or FPO, Canada or Internationally:
    Kendall Hunt Publishing Company ships merchandise worldwide. You may order directly from Kendall Hunt Publishing via our website at www.kendallhunt.com, fax 800-772-9165 or 563-589-1046. Prepayment prior to shipping must be made in U.S. funds. Orders will be shipped the most economical method (8-10 weeks for delivery). If you prefer a faster (more expensive) shipping method, please indicate that in the comment field when ordering. Freight charges will be based on package size, weight, destination, order value and delivery time.
    Confirming Orders:
    If you placed your order by phone, fax or internet, DO NOT mail a confirming order. If your school or business requires you to send a confirmation, you must mark the order as “Confirming Order, DO NOT Duplicate”. Unless your confirming order is marked clearly, you will be responsible for return freight charges if the order is duplicated. 
    RETURNS Policy Guidelines Effective May 15, 2014
    Kendall Hunt Publishing Company always strives to ensure customer satisfaction with our products and services.
    Should it become necessary for you to return products, the following guidelines must be followed:
    • Product-Specific Guidelines:   
      • Digitally delivered product is not returnable.  For other non-returnable items, please refer to your original purchase invoice.  Printed product must be unmarked, unstamped, un-stickered, unscratched, with no bent corners or torn covers. Prepackaged bundles must be in original and unbroken shrink wrap. Electronic Access Card package seal must not be broken 
    • Customer-Specific Guidelines:  
      • 6 months from invoice date for the following customers:  
        • Bookstores, Schools, Associations, Professional Organizations, College Departments, Professors/Educators
      • 1 month from invoice date for the following customers:
      •       Individual /Student Purchasers, Home Schools, Libraries  
    • Shipping-Specific Guidelines:  
      • All returned product must be carefully packaged and arrive in resalable condition. Kendall Hunt is not responsible for any return shipping charges including duties, custom fees, and taxes where applicable.

    A copy of the original invoice, packing slip or chargeback with the ISBN and quantity being returned must be in each box. 
    Returns that do not meet the Return Guidelines will not have credit issued, will not be returned, and will be discarded.

    Damaged Product, Defective Product or Missing Product:
    • All claims must be reported within 30 days or less by contacting the Customer Service Department at 800-228-0810 or e-mail orders@kendallhunt.com.
    • Please save the shipping carton, this is necessary to facilitate a freight claim.
    • Do not return merchandise until you receive our instructions to do so.
