The Differentiation Resource Books (DRB) are based on the Math Trailblazers (MTB) curriculum and were developed by dedicated MTB teachers for fellow MTB educators.  They were designed to help deepen students' mathematical understanding and to assist teachers in meeting the variety of student needs in their classrooms.  Additionally, the DRB blend with daily MTB instruction so that multiple activities flow naturally, allowing for flexible student grouping.

The DRB are correlated to the content in second and third editions of Math Trailblazers. They could be used by any MTB user as there are new and existing extensions from the curriculum that can be used with each Unit. At the beginning of each Unit is a table that describes the MTB tools that could be used to review skills, support current lessons, or expand upon students’ current knowledge.
