Math Trailblazers is a complete, research-based, National Science Foundation-funded, K-5 mathematics program integrating math, science and language arts.
It embodies the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) principles and Standards for School Mathematics and is based on the ideas that mathematics is best learned by solving problems in real-world contexts and that a curriculum should balance conceptual understanding with procedural skill.
Making math meaningful for over 20 years
The new third edition of Math Trailblazers represents more than 20 years of research and collaboration with educators from around the country. This third edition has an easier-to-use format, with additional content for teachers and administrators. |

Kendall/Hunt's COO Chad Chandlee and Vice President Charley Cook were interviewed recently on Sky Radio. They talk about the positive impact Math Trailblazers has had on schools across the country. |
