iCommunicate is an all-in-one textbook and workbook combined. The textbook covers the overview and basics of Interpersonal Communication, including some of the most popular and widely used theories in the field as well as the most recent technological influences on communication. This book focuses on getting to the point and provides a relatable voice while asking students to consider ways in which the information has been experienced or witnessed by them.

Research shows that most people learn best through application. Each chapter is followed by discussion prompts as well as worksheets to help apply the concepts and lessons in the chapter. This becomes a useful tool for instructors to guide students to reflect on and apply what they have learned. These ancillaries are useful both in face-to-face classes and online. The discussion questions and worksheets can be used in class, outside of class as a written assignment, or for online courses.
