Project M2, Project M3, and Project A3 are supplementary math units full of

engaging tasks designed to help teachers nurture mathematically gifted

elementary students. The activities encourage students to go beyond basic

standards as they reason, question, justify, create, discuss, and write about

their thinking. These units provide opportunities for talent development and

talent discovery. This session will highlight lessons from grades K-5.

Description

Explore how virtues help us connect school and home meaningfully and respectfully to create a strong framework between the educators and families. When virtues are used to build the foundation for understanding, expectations, and interactions, educators, families, and children have a strong guide that is intentionally taught and spoken to help them navigate interactions with each other.
