HIGHER EDUCATION PREK-12 EDUCATION RCL BENZIGER PARADIGM
Join Kendall Hunt and Illustrative Mathematics for a special virtual professional learning opportunity designed just for grades K-2 teachers. Led by IM-Certified® trainers, this session is perfect for educators who are gaining familiarity with the problem-based lesson structure and have taught many of the units.
This session is designed to help educators use sample student work to thoughtfully plan and facilitate synthesizing discussions that build on students’ ideas. These discussions are an essential component of a problem-based lesson structure.
This event will be limited to the first 25 attendees who sign up. After that, additional sign-ups will be added to a wait list in case any of the initial 25 attendees cannot attend. There is a minimum of 10 registrations per each grade band to run the event. If the minimum is not met, the event will be canceled. We will communicate with you if you have been added to the wait list or if there has been any cancelations.

Led by IM-Certified® trainers, this session is perfect for educators who want more opportunities for planning an activity synthesis or an introduction to the 5 Practices for Orchestrating Productive Mathematics Discussions
The purpose of this session is to use provided samples of student work to explore ways to plan and structure synthesizing discussions based on students sharing their ideas. Synthesis is a key part of a problem-based lesson.
This event will be limited to the first 25 attendees who sign up. After that, additional sign-ups will be added to a wait list in case any of the initial 25 attendees cannot attend.
