Kim has worked in the field of hospice for over 36 years becoming certified in hospice nursing in 1997. She has a Master’s Degree in Health Care Management and a certificate in Spiritual Direction. In addition to her nursing profession, Kim has been a catechist for over 30 years working with children and families preparing to celebrate First Reconciliation and Eucharist. She is also an award winning author of the children book series "What Cloud" for children who have lost a parent, grandparent or sibling.
