Description
While you're there, don't miss out on this great session:
Who are mathematically gifted and how do we serve these neurodivergent learners in a general education and GT classroom?
If you are looking for a new and engaging math curriculum - this is it! This is also a great supplement for those GT teachers who are collaborating in the regular classroom.
Project A3 is a supplementary math curriculum full of engaging tasks designed to help teachers navigate the complexities of math enrichment and get kids thinking. The activities encourage students to go beyond basic standards as they reason, question, justify, create, discuss, and write about their thinking. We will discuss successful strategies that allow teachers to offer enrichment tasks to all students (regular classroom and GT class) which provides opportunities for talent development and talent discovery. This session will highlight lessons from grades 3-6 with hand-on interaction of various activities from the books.
